Mar Elias College, a Higher Education Institute located at Kottappady, Kerala produces number of successful graduates every year. The students after their pass out from the Institute, move out to different parts of the country and the globe in search of opportunities to settle in their careers.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLUB

Entrepreneurship Development Club is formed to inculcate Entrepreneurial Culture among students and equip them with the talents, skills, techniques and confidence to act as torch-bearers of Enterprise of the new generation.

The Health Club of the college is a voluntary group that learns, discusses and takes action on issues related to the health and well-being of the staff and students of the campus.

“Nrithya” dance club of MEC.”Nrithya” focuses on to pick the best of dancers and form an efficient college dance team.

“Raaga”, the music club serves as a platform for musicians of all genres and skill levels to showcase their talent at various events held at MEC.

Films are one of the most appealing media for the common masses. Films and motion pictures play a vital role in influencing people by entertaining and inspiring them. The film industry is so massive that it ensures a wide range of career opportunities for people.

Nature Club has introduced to generate awareness among students about the current environmental issues. Nature club teaches students to love their mother nature and conserve the resources in it.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

The mission of the Photography Club is to provide a supportive environment for interested photography students to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography.

Drama Club gives students an outlet for interest that go beyond acting and leads to friendships across grades.Students who are interested in learning more about the facets of theater should join Drama Club.

Tourism club functions effectively in the college. The club aims to promote tour activities to bridge the gap between classroom education and hands-on experience through the art of journeying and integral in the coordination of tour programmes offered to students.

Reading club of Mar Elias College is an inclusive group of teachers and students for promoting reading.

Sports Club provides opportunity for student participation in a variety of physical, recreational and athletic activities and gives students opportunities to engage in the activity of their choice at various levels.

ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB

Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage College students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize them on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting.
