The College was established in 2006 with a Degree Programme (B.Com. Finance and Taxation) affiliated to MG University, Kottayam.
Baselios Block was inagurated in the year 2007.
Undergraduate programmes- B.Com. Computer Application and BBA - were commenced
M.Com. Finance and Taxation was started and the new Computer Lab was inaugurated.
Started one more batch for M.Com. Finance and Taxation and 4 Under Graduate programmes- BCA, BSW, B.Com. Travel & Tourism, B.A. English Languuage and Literature (Administrative Assistant) - were introduced. Baselios block was extended by contructing a second floor and was inaugurated.
Commenced B.Sc. Computer Science programme under the Department of Computer Science and Applications.
New Computer Lab was inaugurated and started working under the C.S. Department.
Commenced the P.G. programme - M.S.W. - under the Department of Social Work and the college scaled a new benchmark in the year by securing a University Rank for BSW.
The College has maintained the potential for excellence by signing an MoU with M.A. College on Paramarsh Scheme of U.G.C.
The college has established an enviable record as a front - runner in the field of Social Work by securing University Ranks for BSW.
Ever striving for academic excellence, the Department of Commerce has secured University Rank for B.Com. T.T.
A new P.G. programme M.T.T.M. was sanctioned by the M.G. University.
Started the M.T.T.M. programme with a modest number of students and the college became a local chapter of SWAYAM NPTEL.
As a result of the sustained effort, the college again secured University ranks for B.S.W.
The college pursed its infrastructure developement by inaugurating a new block named Athanasius Block.
Office, Library, Principal's Room, Staff Rooms amd Manager's Room were renovated as a part of infrastructure development.
