The official declaration of NAAC B++ Accreditation of the college was done by Dr. R Bindhu, Minister-Higher Education and Social Justice on 14 August 2023.H.G. Mar Julius Alias (Meropolitan of Angamaly Diocese, Kothamangalam) presided over the meeting. Sri Antony John (MLA, Kothamangalam) inaugurated the endowment programme for free education namely the Project Sunshine’ on the same day itself. The endowment is provided to students who secured more than 85% marks in the qualifying examination and also belong to economically backward category. The eligibility will be evaluated by the concerned authority assigned for this. Dr. Bruce Mathew (Principal, Mar Elias College) delivered the welcome speech. Rev.Fr. Eldhose Pulparambil (Vicar, Kalkunnel Mar Geevarghese Sahada Church), Rev.Fr.Eldhose Thombra (Asst Vicar, Kalkunnel Mar Geevarghese Sahada Church), Sri.C.M Baby (Manager, Mar Elias College) and Smt. Jili K Eldhose (IQAC Coordinator) felicitated the gathering. Smt Sayana Sunny (Staff Secretary) delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was highly successful.
