The Green Sphere Campus Initiative and the Collaborative MoU Signing Ceremony between Mar Elias College, Peace Valley and Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. was successfully conducted on 14 th of November 2025 at 1:45 p.m. at Mar Elias College. The programme marked an important step towards institutional collaboration for sustainable and eco-friendly campus development.
The ceremony began with a prayer by the college choir, followed by a welcome address by Mr.Sunil Joseph, Manager, Mar Elias College. The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jose Parathuvayalil, President, Board of Management, who highlighted the role of educational institutions in promoting environmental responsibility.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. K. A. Aboobacker, Chairman, Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., who delivered the inaugural address and explained the objectives of the Green Sphere Campus Initiative. Following this, Dr. Joseph T. Moolayil, Principal, Mar Elias College, delivered his remarks, appreciating the collaboration and reaffirming the institution’s commitment to sustainable campus practices.
A detailed project presentation was made by Mr. Kabeer B. Haroon, Managing Director, Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., outlining the scope and implementation strategies of the initiative. The highlight of the programme was the MoU Signing Ceremony, which formally established the partnership between Mar Elias College and Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
The programme included felicitations by Mr. C. M. George, Mrs. Sreekala C., and Mrs. Vidya V. V., who extended their best wishes for the success of the initiative. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Sebastian Willington and Mr. K. M. Salim, Directors of Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Miss Haritha E. R., Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work.
