Mar Elias College, Department of Social Work in association with IQAC conducted a felicitation ceremony on 12th December 2023. The ceremony started with a formal inauguration and it was inaugurated by Sri. Antony John MLA by lighting the lamp, in the presence of Dr Bruce Mathew (college principal) Mr C.M Baby (Manager), Fr. Eldhose Paul Thombra, Sri.Mini Gobi Ms Soumya Mathew (HOD, Dept. of Social Work), and other faculty members. Ms. Soumya Mathew HOD, started with a welcome speech, and later Dr Bruce Mathew gave a keynote speech to the session, Sri. Antony John MLA handover memento to Ms. Feba Francis, for winning 9th rank in MSW examinations. Feba Francis shared her journey to success. Sri. Antony John MLA gave the inaugural speech. Every other guest delivered a message as a token of appreciation. Also the chief guest handovers other prizes to other students. Ms Deepti.M, Assistant Professor Department of Social Work, delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the function.The main focus of the program is to make the students motivated and also to make them aware ofthe hard work that leads to success.
