Mar Elias College, Kottappady, Department of Social Work in collaboration with the Nitronurture Foundation organized a Programme on CSR Impact pathways on 10th December, 2025. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about the clarity on how CSR connects purpose with professional growth and how to contribute real world impact through structured learning and involvement
The programme began with a prayer, followed by the welcome address delivered by Ms. Sneha C Suresh, Student Representative, First year MSW, Mar Elias College. Inauguration & Inaugural Address was given by Dr. Joseph T. Moolayil, Principal of Mar Elias College, who highlighted the importance of CSR emerging opportunities in building society.
The awareness session was conducted by Mr. Gerald Martin, Founder and CEO Nitronurture Foundation. He delivered an informative and interactive session on insights and impact of CSR. His talk effectively encouraged the students to stay vigilant and engage in CSR activities in future.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Alfiya P S, Student Representative, Second year MSW, Mar Elias College. The session was highly informative and impactful, helping students understand the significance of CSR
