CLEAN CADET CORPS TRAINING

The Clean Cadet Corps (CCC) Training Programme, organised by Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., was successfully conducted at Mar Elias College, Kottappady with the objective of equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills related to sustainable campus practices and waste management.

The programme commenced at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome address by Mrs. Soumya Mathew, Head, Department of Social Work setting the tone for a day focused on environmental responsibility and campus sustainability. The first session, led by Mr. Kabeer B. Haroon, MD, Unison Consultancy Pvt.Ltd provided an introduction to the project and emphasized the concept of a sustainable campus, highlighting the role of structured initiatives in promoting eco-friendly practices.

Following a short tea break, the second session was handled by Mr. Ibrahim E. A., Head of Operations, Unison Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. who delivered an in-depth session on source-level waste management, stressing the importance of segregation, reduction, and responsible disposal of waste at the origin itself. This session offered practical insights relevant to institutional and individual practices.

After the lunch break, the third session focused on audit training related to food safety, health, hygiene, and waste management, facilitated by Ms. Rasha Zaheer, Project Coordinator. The session emphasized maintaining standards, ensuring compliance, and integrating safety and hygiene practices into everyday campus life.

The programme concluded at 2:40 p.m. with a vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of a well-structured training programme that enhanced participants’ awareness and commitment towards sustainable and responsible campus practices.
