Department of Social Work in association with IQAC, NSS, CLSL agency, Palakkad and Kerala forest department, Nemmara division conducted a cleaning program,‘Bhoomika-clean Nelliyampathy campaign’ as an initiative to introduce the benefits to inculcate awareness regarding Environmental Conservation and to inculcate interest in and love of nature with its myriad living forms. The campaign was conducted on 19.10.2023 at 10.00 pm.62 students and 2 faculty members participated in the program.Introductory session was inaugurated by Mr.Manoj Sub Inspector of police by planting trees at Nemmara and after that trainees went to Nelliyampathy, there was an introductory session by Mr. Manoj C I (DFO) about the importance of environmental conservation. After that trainees and faculty members were divided into two groups. Each group went to Seetharamkund and Nelliyampathy and engaged in cleaning as a part of this campaign. It was an effective program for trainees.
