IQAC and the Women Empowerment Cell organised the LA VITA-Life is Beautiful, PRO-LIFE exhibition. The exhibition took place in the seminar hall on 8th &9th of February 2023. Respected College Manager Mr. C.M. Baby and Principal Dr. Bruce Mathew officially launched the programme. Students from our college and school visited the exhibition, and the volunteers gave them an explanation of the materials on display. The exhibition's materials included posters, baby specimens, and touch-and-feel items. The items handled by the ministry PRO-LIFE. The programme's goal was to raise awareness on new born developmental milestones and myths about abortion and its repercussions. The tactile materials provide the impression that a new born has actually been touched. Because the material was made with a particular rubber substance that is almost similar to infant skin. With more than 500 attendees, the show was a big success. The exhibition was set up from 9.30 am until 4.30 pm. We had 8 volunteers from the social work department and Women Empowerment Cell.
Outcome of the Programme
The programme's concise overview was an infant's growth milestones and unplanned abortion. There are many fallacies about new born growth and development, thus it's important for humans to grasp what actually occurs in the womb from the first to the 9th month. This is the fundamental knowledge that each person requires. This was the exhibition's goal, and everyone achieved the goal.
