PLACEMENT DRIVE
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Mar Elias College, in collaboration with Santa Monica Study Abroad Pvt. Ltd., orchestrated a transformative placement drive on January 12, 2024, at the Seminar Hall starting from 10:00 am. This inclusive opportunity welcomed candidates from diverse academic backgrounds, emphasizing proficiency in either English or Malayalam.
A notable turnout saw 37 talented female candidates registering for the positions of Student Relations Officer and Client Development Officer. The selection process unfolded with 10 participants engaging in two crucial rounds—articulate self-introductions and dynamic group discussions. The Seminar Hall buzzed with energy as candidates showcased their talents and interpersonal skills.
Before the interview sessions, the delegates, acting as adept conductors, judiciously briefed the candidates, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the process. The self-introduction round provided a platform for candidates to articulate aspirations, while the group discussion served as a dynamic symposium of ideas and collaborative prowess.
Beyond the immediate recruitment goals, the placement drive holds immense significance. It not only identifies potential talent but also bridges the gap between academia and industry, aligning skills with market demands. The event serves as a catalyst for career development, offering participants a chance to explore opportunities and organizations, fostering a symbiotic relationship between education institutions and the professional world. This holistic approach underscores the beneficial and necessary impact of conducting placement drives in nurturing a future-ready workforce.
