Mar Elias College organized an NSS Day celebration in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 109. The event also marked the inauguration of a significant project focusing on organic farming, aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly practices. Chief Guests
1. Smt. Asha Ajin - Block Panchayat Member, Kothamangalam, was invited as the Chief Guest for the occasion. Her presence underscored the local government's support for educational initiatives and sustainable development.
2. Sri. Gigy Job - Agricultural Officer, Kottappady, was the guest of honor who officially inaugurated the Organic Farming Project. His role as an Agricultural Officer made him an apt choice for promoting sustainable agricultural practices among the youth.
Program Overview
The event began at 10:00 AM with an inaugural address by the Principal of Mar Elias College, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the significance of NSS activities in shaping socially responsible students. The Principal acknowledged the contributions of the NSS Unit No. 109 in various community development activities over the years.
