NSS 10 Days Camp - 2023

National service scheme camps play a significant role in student life, imparting them with crucial life skills. The seven-day NSS special camp for the academic year 2023-24 was held at Government L.P School, South Kottappady from 24th December 2023 to 30th December 2023. The camp's theme was “Youth Kerala for a garbage-free day”. Beyond that, the NSS Volunteers conducted various activities during the camp and it provided a positive energy and strength to the volunteers. The seven-day camp was inaugurated by Smt. Mini Gopi, President, Kottappady Grama Panchayat.
During  morning sessions, the volunteers concentrate more on field work like school garden arrangements, vegetable gardening, Swachh Bharat Mission etc. and in the afternoon, they have various orientation sessions on personality development, gender and sexuality, drug addiction etc. At the end of each day, the volunteers participated in various cultural programmes too.
