The Cake Making Workshop conducted at college auditorium on 11th December, 2023 at 10.00 am aimed to introduce students to the art and science of baking delightful and delectable cakes. The event organized by the Women Empowerment Cell,Department of Tourism Studies, ED Club in association with NSS, Kudumbasree, Kottappady Panchayath and IQAC, as part of Unarvu Extension Programme, attracted enthusiastic participation from the girl students and Kudumbasree members eager to explore the world of baking.
The workshop began with an overview of the essentials of cake making, including ingredients, techniques, and tools required for successful baking. Expert home baker Ms. Rakhi Raveendran, demonstrated step-by-step procedures, engaging students in a hands-on learning experience. The highlights of the workshop included:
