Aaravam 2k24, the much-awaited College Day programme of our esteemed institution, Mar Elias College, Kottappady in association with IQAC & college Union, unfolded on March 14th &15th , 2024, marking a day of celebration, inspiration, and unity.

The day began with a heartfelt prayer, invoking blessings and guidance for the proceedings ahead. The melodious strains of the college choir uplifted spirits and set a harmonious atmosphere for the day's events. A warm welcome was extended to all attendees by Dr. Bruce Mathew, the esteemed Principal of Mar Elias College, Kottappady, setting the stage for the festivities to follow. Rev. Fr. Eldhose Pulparambil, Board President & Vicar, Kalkunnel Mar Geevarghese Sahada Church were shared, inspiring and encouraging Words of blessing to all present to embrace the spirit of the occasion.Presidential Address delivered by H.G. Mor Julius Elias, Metropolitan of Kothamangalam Region of Angamali Diocese was an insightful address, highlighting the significance of the College Day and the achievements of the institution. The inauguration of the College Day programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Sanjana Sajan, a renowned cine artist. Her presence served as a source of motivation for the students and added prestige to the occasion, making it truly memorable for all attendees. A distinguished keynote speaker Ms. Mini Gopi, President. Kottappady Grama Panchayath shared valuable insights and perspectives, enriching the audience with knowledge and inspiration. The prize distribution ceremony added a sense of achievement and motivation to the event, encouraging all participants to strive for excellence in their endeavors. Keytarist Mr.Sumesh Kootickal’s Performance Following the official session, attendees were treated to a captivating performance by a talented keytarist. The mesmerizing melodies and rhythmic beats enthralled the audience, showcasing the fusion of traditional and contemporary music styles. The performance served as a delightful interlude, adding a touch of musical flair to the College Day festivities.
The afternoon session was filled with excitement and energy as the college's Music & Dance Clubs took center stage. Students showcased their artistic talents through vibrant dance routines and melodious musical performances. From classical to contemporary genres, the audience was treated to a diverse array of performances that highlighted the creativity and passion of the participants.
On March 15, 2024 from 10:00am - 12:00pm ,the focus shifted to the final year students, who took the opportunity to showcase their talents and bid farewell to their alma mater in style. From 12:30pm - 3:15pm,Music Band Performance by Lil Payyan, Amani, Efy, the DH Stories. The grand finale of the College Day celebrations culminated with an electrifying performance by the music band comprising Lil Payyan, Amani, Efy, and the DH Stories. The talented musicians delivered an unforgettable performance, mesmerizing the audience with their soulful melodies and energetic beats. The music band's dynamic performance brought the College Day festivities to a fitting conclusion, leaving everyone in high spirits and looking forward to future celebrations.The College Day programme on March 14-15, 2024, was a testament to the talent, creativity, and unity within the college community, providing a platform for students to showcase their skills and celebrate their achievements in a festive and inclusive atmosphere.
