The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a seminar on Research Methodology on January 19, 2024, from 2:00 pm onwards for the II M.COM Finance & Taxation and II MTTM Students. The purpose of the seminar was to raise awareness about Research Methodology, especially pertinent for the upcoming projects of PG final year students. Dr. Bruce Mathew, Principal of Mar Elias College, Kottappady, served as the resource person for the session. The focus of the session primarily revolved around Research Problem, encompassing aspects such as the selection of research problems, their sources, leading problems, and questionnaire preparation.
The session fostered an interactive environment and provided valuable information to the students. A post-presentation interactive session allowed students to clarify their doubts effectively. As a result of the seminar, students felt equipped to commence their PG project work. The session concluded around 3:30 pm, leaving attendees with a deeper understanding of Research Methodology and the tools necessary for successful project implementation.
