The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a seminar on Research Methodology on January 18, 2024, from 9.30 am onwards for the III B.COM Computer Application & Travel &Tourism Students. The purpose of the seminar was to raise awareness about Research Methodology, especially pertinent for the upcoming projects of UG final year students. Ms.Febeena O S,Asst.Professor of Mar Elias College, Kottappady, served as the resource person for the session. The focus of the session primarily revolved around Research Problem, encompassing aspects such as the selection of research problems, their sources, leading problems, and questionnaire preparation.
The session fostered an interactive environment and provided valuable information to the students. A post-presentation interactive session allowed students to clarify their doubts effectively. As a result of the seminar, students felt equipped to commence their UG project work. The session concluded around 11.30 am, leaving attendees with a deeper understanding of Research Methodology and the tools necessary for successful project implementation.
