The Department of Commerce, Mar Elias College, Kottappady, celebrated Commerce Day 2025 – BIZIGNITE on 7 August 2025 at the College Auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. N. Bhaskaran, Managing Director, Carris Pipes & Tubes Pvt. Ltd., and presided over by Dr. Joseph T. Moolayil, Principal.
The celebration featured inspiring addresses, including a motivational session by the Chief Guest and an interactive discussion with alumni entrepreneurs. In association with ED Cell and IEDC, a Food Festival and an Exhibition-cum-Sale of handmade student products were organized, showcasing creativity and entrepreneurial talent.
The afternoon witnessed a vibrant cultural session, highlighted by a professional ramp walk and an engaging business quiz. The event concluded at 4.00 p.m., leaving students enriched with knowledge, inspiration, and festive memories.
