The NSS unit of Mar Elias College celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th June 2022. The main aim of the event was to increase awareness among students about the importance of the environment and the need to protect it. The NSS volunteers celebrated the day by planting different saplings in and around the college premises.College Principal gave a speech on what role the environment plays and why it is important for people to take initiatives to save the environment.
