National Service Scheme Unit of Mar Elias College in association with Health Club under IQAC organized a free Dental camp for the Staff, Students and Public on 07th December 2021. The objective of the camp was to provide free dental and general health checkups, and offer further free treatment for those patients who require root canal surgery. The camp was organised with the help of Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Kerala State Excise Department and Health Club.
The Camp started at 9.00 am with a formal inaugural function. The programme was inaugurated by P.A.M Basheer, President, Kothamangalam Block Panchayat. 83 patients registered and attended the camp.Patients getfree dental treatment and consultation at College. Some of the patients were referred to Indira Gandhi Hospital for further treatment, they also get 25% discount at Hospital. The consultation ended around 1.30 pm.
